Who am I?
I’m Kota —co-host of Current Chatter and someone who loves a good conversation. Whether it’s life experiences, family dynamics, or just everyday chaos, I’m all about keeping things real, honest, and (hopefully) entertaining.
I started this podcast with my mom, Losa, because we have a lot to say and love diving into all kinds of topics. Current Chatter is about open, thoughtful conversations—sometimes deep, sometimes hilarious, but always genuine. We may not always see eye to eye, but that just makes things more interesting.
Outside of the podcast, I work in inventory control and warehouse operations, but when I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me grilling, ice fishing, playing video games, or getting lost in a splatterpunk book. I’m also a huge nerd who loves Dungeons & Dragons and horror. Lately, I’ve been looking into blacksmithing—whether it turns into a real hobby or just another way to waste my time, we’ll see.
I share my life with my two amazing partners, Rin and Tristan, and our three mischievous, hairless cats—Enzo, Lucy, and Willow. Life’s never boring with them around.

Born and raised in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah, Losa has always embraced the beauty of family, creativity, and meaningful conversations. A devoted spouse of over 30 years and a proud parent of two incredible sons, Losa’s journey has been filled with love, laughter, and the joy of shared experiences.
As the co-host of a podcast alongside their son, Kota, Losa brings insightful discussions, heartfelt stories, and a unique perspective to every episode. Their dynamic reflects not just a strong family bond but also a deep passion for meaningful dialogue.
Beyond the microphone, Losa is a dedicated creator, crafting candles, soaps, and other wellness-focused products that promote a healthier, more natural lifestyle. With a love for hands-on creativity, they find joy in making everyday essentials that nourish both the body and soul.
Still calling Salt Lake City home, Losa continues to cherish time with family, explore new creative ventures, and inspire others through both words and craftsmanship.
